Migration / Transfer Rules

1.   Migration is only allowed from HEC recognised Universities.
2.   The program / discipline from where migration is desired should be accredited by respective accredited councils.
3.   The admission criteria should be in line with the Mehran UET, Jamshoro.
4.   Migration / Transfer is only allowed in the 3rd or 4th semester. The credit hours to be transferred shall not be more than 50% of the total credit hours of the degree program of the Mehran UET, Jamshoro.
5.   Migration / Transfer is not allowed to the students admitted on reciprocal basis.
6.   Migration / Transfer is allowed only in the cases of extreme hardship for the students or if it is considered in the best interest of the University by the competent authority. The decision of the University is final and binding in this regard.
7.   The students failing in previous semesters (i.e., less than 50% marks) shall not be eligible for admission on migration/transfer basis.
8.   An amount of Rs. 15,000/- shall be charged for migration/transfer application processing (non-refundable) fee.
9.   The migration / transfer of the local students would be allowed on the payment of Rs. 1,050,000/- (Rupees One Million Fifty Thousand Only) to the Mehran UET; while foreign students would be required to pay Rs. 1,260,000/- (Rupees One Million Two Hundred Sixty Thousand Only) as migration fee.
10.   The nominees are required to submit NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NOC) of the nominating agency.
11.   Admission on migration basis is made up to the fourth week of the start of the classes of a particular session.
